Welcome to the FRIENDS of the Colleyville Public Library
Colleyville, Texas had no
public library and the FRIENDS of the Colleyville Public
Library
was formed as a grass roots effort to build a public library for
the local
community.
It was incorporated as a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization on July 1, 1991.
The
group's purpose is to promote the interest and welfare of the
library as a cultural,
educational, and community asset to the
City of Colleyville, Texas.
As advocates for the Colleyville
Public Library, the FRIENDS provide
support through
fund-raising and volunteers, as well as cultural
and educational programs.
Membership is open to anyone who wishes to support the Colleyville
Public Library
and pays the annual dues. In order to
become a
